SEO Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and analytical SEO Analyst to join our team. As an SEO Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing our website's visibility and performance in search engine results pages (SERPs). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices, as well as a proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving traffic growth.

Job description

  1. Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for our target audience and industry.
  2. Perform on-page optimization, including optimizing meta tags, headings, URLs, and content for target keywords.
  3. Analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Monitor website rankings, traffic, and performance metrics regularly and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve organic search visibility.
  5. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the search landscape and benchmark our performance against competitors.
  6. Develop and implement link building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites and improve domain authority.
  7. Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and designers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout the website.
  8. Stay updated on SEO industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to adapt strategies and tactics accordingly.
  9. Provide regular reports and updates on SEO performance, including key metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  10. Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms and updates to SEO guidelines to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Job responsibilities

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as an SEO Analyst, SEO Specialist, or similar role, with a strong track record of improving organic search rankings and driving traffic growth.
  3. Deep understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices, including on-page optimization, off-page optimization, technical SEO, and local SEO.
  4. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize SEO performance.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  7. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and staying updated on SEO industry trends and developments.

Preferred:

  1. Certification in SEO or related field (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush).
  2. Experience with technical SEO audits and website optimization.
  3. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website development best practices.
  4. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
  5. Understanding of international SEO and multilingual website optimization.
  6. Familiarity with social media and its impact on SEO.
  7. Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
